Today I'm posting about a set of Potholders I was thinking about making for some time now. So Today was the day to put it to loom....
This is the Large one......
The Small one.....
and now the Set.....
Yes! I like how they turned out.
Think I'll try a set with lavender and purples.
I wanted to make a set for Bar-B-Qing and this is what I came up with.

As i promised today's post is about the second set my friend ordered with the colors from Argentina. I used the same colors but did a different weave for each.

I think these are just as bright and sunny... And, Yes she loved these also, she's sending them to family still in Argentina.
Now that she has had time to think about it she ordered two more sets for gifts. Guress I'll be busy for a while now....

Today's post is about an order for a friend of mine... Yes, I've started taking orders and charging $15.00 for the Set of 1-Large + 1-Small Potholder. She is from Argentina originally and asked if I could make a set with the Argentine colors. So I looked up the flag for Argentina and here's what I made.
Colors used:
Don't they look bright and sunny? Well she liked them so much she ordered a second set with the same colors.

This set was made special for our daughter Lorna. She likes the colors black, red, and white, so that's exactly what she has.....

When I gave them to her I asked if she wanted them right now or did she want to wait till she moved in the her New Home.... She gave me the look,, and said I'll take them Now, and thanked me!

Today's Potholders are a set I made as a gift for a very good friend of ours. She loves the outdoors and her home reflects that. The colors I picked were in the browns for the earth, blues for the sky, and yellow for the sun and flowers....
Here are the colors I used:

Today I'm posting a set I made for our Cabin in Ga. I wanted it to have darker fall colors, and still be bright and fresh.
Here's what colors I used:
With this first large one I tried a diagonal weave to see how it showed up all the way across. But I can see it good in the Leaf color but it gets lost when it travels thru the multi colors part. Oh will, now I know.

I'm quit happy with the way they turned out and enjoyed using them right away. Hubby grabbed one of the small ones for his mug coaster. Hmmmm. On line I've seen little baby looms that are for Mug Rugs as there called. I'll have to look into that next I guess.
